How Do You Maintain A Brass Sink?

Brass Care:
• The antiqued brass sink and faucets may be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild liquid dish soap. Do not use steel wool or any abrasive cleaner or cloth.
• After sink use, rinse down any potentially abrasive agents such as toothpaste or hair gel. This will help prevent against discoloration.
• Antiqued brass changes over time as it is touched and rubbed and will lighten with use. To maintain the original dark finish longer and to prevent spotting, we recommend a coat of Flitz Faucet & Fixture Wax or similar product be applied regularly. Flitz wax will help protect against fingerprints, hairspray, soap, toothpaste and other deposits. Follow application directions. During application, we recommend patting the wax on then off again with a soft cloth. DO NOT RUB!
• As with any faucet, for the best tasting and cleanest water, flush the tap until the water gets noticeably colder, usually 15+ seconds.
