For a double sink bathroom vanity, how much would you like between sinks? Are you going to be sharing the sink with a spouse or a roommate or will you be using a larger size bathroom vanity for a commercial bathroom? The design of a bathroom vanity can have the two sinks closer together or farther apart. Generally, when the vanity has a standard design, which looks like two smaller single sink bathroom vanities put together, the sinks are in line with the vanity cabinets and, therefore, are farther apart on the vanity top. This allows for more space between people, as well as more counter space for both of you on larger models at 67 inches or more. In addition, with the standard type of bathroom vanity model, a row of drawers separates the sinks and can number from three to five drawers, which will be felt lined. In addition, some similar models have a row of small drawers lining the top of the vanity chest below the vanity top but, for this type of bathroom vanity model, the drawers are eight in number and are smaller. The vanity cabinets are also smaller for this type of design, but, depending upon what and how much you need stored, smaller drawers and cabinets may suit your needs better. As a result of the larger size and length, the drawers at the center of this standard design are longer, although the cabinets have stayed the same size. The longer length of the drawers allows for more storage space and, in addition, put more space in between the sinks. However, for these types of bathroom vanities, there will be four drawers and all are felt lined. With larger space between sinks, the mirror accompanying the vanity in the bath vanity sets will have two large panels – one for each person using the sinks – or will be two medium-size panels with a centered, narrower mirror insert paralleling the counter space of the vanity top between the sinks.
